01 - Rinse cranberries thoroughly and discard any that are soft or bruised.
02 - In a medium saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, water, and orange juice.
03 - Bring mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.
04 - Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 10 to 12 minutes until most cranberries burst and sauce thickens.
05 - Stir in orange zest, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Continue simmering for 1 to 2 minutes.
06 - Remove from heat and allow sauce to cool; it will thicken as it cools.
07 - Transfer to a serving bowl or airtight container. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
