01 - Heat the oven to 425°F. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or lightly greasing it.
02 - Place the trimmed asparagus in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
03 - Drizzle olive oil over the asparagus, sprinkle with kosher salt and black pepper, then toss gently to coat evenly.
04 - Cook in the preheated oven for 12 minutes until tender and lightly browned.
05 - Remove the baking sheet from the oven and evenly sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the asparagus.
06 - Return to the oven for 2 to 3 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden.
07 - Serve immediately, garnished with lemon wedges if desired.
